The best brunch in Calabasas - hands down.

If you are currently drooling over this nonfat vanilla latte, you are not alone.

Sweet

Let's get straight to the facts. Blu Jam Café always has a line out the door with people waiting to devour their renowned Crunchy French Toast - and for good reason.

I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count, and you best believe I never once have gone without ordering the Crunchy French Toast! This is seriously the ultimate breakfast dish. You have 8 pieces of the brioche toast covered in crispy corn flakes, topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar, and served with a side of their absolutely astounding vanilla sauce. I have no idea what is in this vanilla sauce, but I definitely have tried eating it with a spoon because, yes, it is that good. On top of the mouthwatering flavors and textures of this dish, it is so beautifully presented. So beautiful, in fact, that it is displayed at the top of every Mia's Munchies page!

Savory

It is true that people come from far and wide to try the Crunchy French Toast, but Blue Jam Café has a huge menu filled with so many other delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch selections.

When I am craving both salty and sweet foods to start my morning, I will get an order of the Crunchy French Toast to share with my family, and I will also order a 'Create Your Own Scramble' with eggs, black beans, spinach, mozzarella cheese, and nitrate-free chicken sausage. This is served with a side of their fabulous breakfast potatoes and toast, accompanied by their famous homemade blueberry jam. Now that is what I call the perfect meal.

In the picture below, you can also see the Maui French Toast, which is the crispy corn flake toast topped with caramelized bananas, coconut, powdered sugar, and mint and served with pineapple sauce. While this dish is positively delicious, I highly suggest trying the original Crunchy French Toast first - I promise, it's better.

$$

Blue Jam Café isn't cheap, but when you pay for your meal, know that you are paying for top-quality ingredients and large servings of food, perfect for sharing. The Crunchy French Toast costs $14.95 and the Scramble costs $14.95 as well. The prices are most certainly justified by the quantity and taste of the food and beverages, and I can guarantee that you will be dreaming of your meal for days after dining at Blue Jam Café.
