The best burger I have ever had. Enough said.

Above is the Belcampo Burger, which is simply the juiciest, most flavorful burger I have ever tasted. And I cannot lie - I ate every bite of this mouthwatering burger with my eyes closed, just so I could savor every morsel to the fullest extent.

Belcampo Meat Co. has multiple locations across California and one location in New York as well. They are a full-service butcher shop, but also function as a restaurant, very fortunately for us. I visited their location at Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles which is known for its abundance of unique and popular food vendors.

The Facts

The Belcampo Burger, one of the many incredible items on the menu, features a 1/2 lb. grass-fed and finished dry aged beef patty, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, butter lettuce, house sauce, and brioche. It sounds simple, I know, but I have had many burgers with these same few ingredients, and none of them tasted quite like this Belcampo Burger did. I can remember the moment so well. Prior to tasting this burger, I was unaffected, not having the knowledge that something could taste so good. But after the first bite, I was swarmed with a mix of emotions - the most whole and utterly satisfied feeling, however tinged with some regret at never having eaten this before. It was that good.

At $15, this burger certainly isn't cheap, but the price makes perfect sense to me, having tried this amazing bite of food. The quality of the ingredients, particularly the meat, was just sensational and every bite seemed even better than the last. I sincerely hope you hop right on over to Belcampo Meat Co. when this quarantine is over because this is something everyone needs to taste.
