The best pasta I have ever had. Period.

Pictured here is the Tagliatelle Bolognese, the only entrée I have ever and will ever order at Mediterraneo. Not that the other food on the menu isn't wonderful, but I can't fathom dining at this restaurant and skipping out on this mouthwatering pasta. It is safe to say that this is one of the best dishes I have ever had, and it never disappoints.

This classy restaurant in Westlake Village, serving Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes of the highest quality, does a fantastic job of making customers feel welcome. The menu has a bounty of delicious options, but I urge you: try the Tagliatelle Bolognese.

You may be wondering why I chose to dedicate an entire blog post to a single dish. All I can say is: go ahead and taste this pasta for yourself. After the first bite, I know you will understand. The veal, beef, and pork ragu is tender and rich, and dare I say - cooked to absolute perfection. The pasta is light and delicate - a delightful base for the hearty bolognese. With just the right amount of parmesan dusted on top, the dish looks just as incredible as it tastes. Is your mouth watering yet?

While this dish is a bit on the expensive side, costing $21, I hope I have persuaded you well enough to save up if you need to and head over to Mediterraneo. I know you will fall in love with this pasta, just as I did.
